V Net is a B2B providing custom-built dynamic and scalable inventory management systems for their corporate clients around the world.
V Net commissioned HHP Design to revamp their website with the goal of appealing to a more international target audience and apply a refreshed brand guide.
V Net also requested that two websites were developed side by side, one in English and the second in Japanese.
The web address was to be updated from .com.au to .com
The updated website design and .com address needed to be a smooth transition with the old website remaining active with no downtime during the new website’s development.
Strategy & Process
V Net provided a brand guide, creative brief and wire frame for HHP to follow throughout the website development.
In order to keep the existing website live and unaffected until the new website was ready to launch, HHP developed the new website using temporary hosting through to completion.
All revisions and edits were done to the new website with the client signing off and approving completion on the temporary hosting, leaving the old website completely unaffected up until the new website launch.
The English website was cloned and translated into Japanese.
Both English and Japanese versions of the revamped “.com” website with newly applied branding and digitally strategy were launched at the same time with no downtime on the old website.
Upon launch, the old .com.au website was decommissioned and .com.au web address redirected to the new .com web address.
Website was seamlessly updated and launched with no downtime of old website during development.
English and Japanese versions of the website developed.
Website address changed from .com.au to .com with redirect.
Website successfully rebranded with new digital strategy catering to an international target audience.
