SuperOffice is a megastore supplying consumers with office supples, stationary and electronics and has over 20,000 products.
SuperOffice approached HHP Design and was looking to streamline their business, improve their customers buying experience and migrate to a platform to handle their growing business.
At that time, SuperOffice’s exisiting online store was on BigCommerce and the goal was to redevelop the website and migrate onto Shopify.
The caveat of migrating to Shopify was not only migrating the 20,000 products – including categories, product descriptions, images and prices- but also migrating all user data and maintaining the SuperOffice SEO Google Ranking.
HHP Design built a more user centric and easy to navigate online store, migrated all products while maintaining previous customer data and SEO ranking.
Strategy & Process
HHP Design maintained the look of the old SuperOffice website but updated the UX/UI (User Experience & User Interface) for customers to easily navigate the new Shopify store and find the products they need.
This was achieved by using a mega menu with category and brand filters.
HHP Design migrated all 20,000 products by sourcing all images and content from the existing/old BigCommerce platform.
All customer data and SEO was maintained and the entire project was completed in 3 weeks, with the old website being in operation and staying live during the entire process.
