Maxton Design is an international franchise supplying consumers around the world with aftermarket car parts.
The client approached HHP Design with the brief of creating an e-commerce website in accordance with the Maxton Design International franchise standards.
The website was a part of the franchisee application process to become the exclusive supplier and distributor of Maxton Design products to Australia and neighbouring countries.
The ecommerce website needed to include shipping options for products currently in-stock at warehouse, as well as a drop shipping element to ship items from supplier directly to customer, for items not in stock.
This case study shows how HHP Design designed and developed this automated e-commerce website.
Strategy & Process
HHP Design was able to create a brand style guide by referencing the Maxton Design UK and Maxton Design Europe websites. A User Experience and User Interface was developed to stay inline with Franchisors standards.
Logo’s, Brand Colours and look and feel was kept identical.
All product images, description and specs were cloned and imported from the supplier into the newly developed UX/UI with minimal correspondence.
Product orders and sales were automated and inventory procurement was linked to both the clients onshore warehouse and to the supplier to ship to customers directly.

Results
The website was approved by Maxton Design International head office and the client’s franchisee application was successful.
The client become the exclusive supplier and distributor of Maxton Design products to Australia with a fully automated e-commerce website developed by HHP Design.
