We recently discovered that someone is impersonating HHP Design, sending emails that look like they’re coming from us — but they’re not.
While we didn’t expect to hit “impersonator-level” fame, this is a serious matter we’re actively addressing to protect our clients and community.
What’s Happening?
A few of our clients have reported receiving emails that appear to be from Daniel at HHP Design, but when you look closer, the sender’s email address is not from our official domain. Instead, these emails are being sent from a Gmail account like danielhhpdesign@gmail.com.
Here’s a screenshot of one such email so you know what to watch out for:
The layout and language might seem legitimate, but these emails are not from us.
What You Need to Know
To avoid any confusion or risk, here are a few quick tips:
- ✅ Our official email domain is:
@hhp-design.com.au - ❌ Any email from a Gmail, Yahoo, or other free email provider is not from us
- 🕵️♂️ Check the sender address carefully, not just the name
If you’re ever unsure whether an email is really from us, just forward it to info@hhp-design.com.au — we’ll happily verify it for you.
No Cause for Panic
We understand this kind of thing can be unsettling, but there’s no need for concern. We’re taking steps to report and block the impersonator and have systems in place to protect your data and accounts.
This notice is simply to keep you informed and help you stay alert.
Thank You for Your Ongoing Trust
As always, we appreciate your continued support and the trust you place in HHP Design. If you have any questions or want to double-check something you’ve received, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Stay safe and savvy online,
Daniel Lee
Director, HHP Design
